A PICTURE IS BETTER THAN A THOUSAND WORDS....
250 Square kilometres (bigger than Buenos Aires), 30 km long, 74 metres higher than the water surface in average, it was simply... stunning! It is also one of the only glaciers in the world that keeps on re-generating: it grows everyday and in the summer especially, pieces melt and fall in the water everyday. We woke up early (again) to go to the park and see the glacier from different views. Apart form the impressing views of the glacier, there were also the amazing experience of seeing bits fall off into the water: every piece that fell off was an explosion of noise, then large iceberg parts flying up in pieces all over the place and finally, noisy waves as it reached the ground! Amazing! Later, the boat ride made us face how small we were facing wonderful nature... And as the saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words... So enjoy!!!
